Slap in the face from a doctor - noise - November 2, 2025
Hi All, Wondering if anyone ever tried getting some professional help by going to your local clinic and getting a good referral or suggestion for further treatment? I went to my local doctor, then referred to hearing specialist - got a hearing test. Result was lose of hearing at a particular frequency and I was told - this is your tinnitus - there is no cure - get used to it! They would not even bother making a suggestion on where to look next. So the only option is now looking for some options on the net which is why I joined this forum. They wouldn't refer me anywhere, which I was very disapointed with. Anyone else had a different experience?

Some doctors will just do the basics. Maybe too much work and healthcare system is too strained? Where you located? Private or Public healthcare? I'm guessing public?
