4 types of exercises:
 
1.  Middle finger tapping on the back of your head
2.  Pinch the lower ear - opening up tubes 
3.  Press your thumb against the ear canal and release 
4.  Rub your ears with your palms 


I tried all 4 of these one after another.  The only observation I can confirm is that I am able to forget about it for about 10-15 seconds.  After that, I notice it is still there. I don't regret trying though.

Anyone tried this?

I just tried all those exercises.  It did help for about 1 minute.  It just happened that while I was doing it, my furnace came on and started making noise which added to my attention diversion - but that is all that it was, just a mind diversion and some new noise that is masking.  I try to be positive so I enjoyed the 1 minute of not thinking about my tinnitus.
