I just wanted to share my meditation method - special breathing
A psychological game. I drift off sometimes, but I am getting better. I get few minutes of peace in general, but it does somewhat help, even for general relaxation.
- Sit or lie down in a comfortable position
- Relax your shoulders and jaw
- Inhale gently through your nose for about 4 seconds
- Exhale slowly through your mouth for about 6 to 8 seconds
- Let the air leave your body naturally, don’t push it
- Take a small pause at the end of the exhale for 1 to 2 seconds
- Repeat this breathing cycle for 3 to 5 minutes
- Keep your focus on the feeling of your breath (THIS IS MOST IMPORTANT)
- If your mind goes back to the tinnitus, gently bring your focus back to your breathing
- Over a few minutes, your body might start to relax and the ugly T may feel less noticeable
